Alignment Mentor

A SHORT EBOOK FOR LEADERS STUCK IN HIGH GEAR

The Downshift The Path of Alignment

How competence becomes a cage, and the five stages that let you out.

You built the company. Your nervous system paid for it. Forty-four pages on why the wins stopped landing, and the five moves that bring you back down a gear without losing your edge.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

What high gear looks like from the inside

The 4am wake up

Heart racing, staring at the ceiling, nothing actually wrong

The Sunday night dread

Already exhausted before the week even starts

Reacting instead of responding

Your team is getting your stress, not your leadership

The caffeine-melatonin cycle

Stimulants to function, pills to sleep, repeat

The win that doesn't land

You hit the target you chased for years and feel flat

The Brutal Truth

You didn't lose the ability to enjoy your life. You lost access to the gear it runs on.

That's not a character flaw. It's a nervous system that learned high revs keep you alive, and was never shown the brake.

THE BOOK

The Downshift: The Path of Alignment

A short, direct ebook on how competence becomes a cage, and the physical controls that get you out. Written for people who don't have time for a 300 page book.

44 Pages

Read it in one sitting. No filler.

Five Practices

Every stage ends with something you can do the same day.

Seven Dollars

Less than a coffee. It pays back on the first long exhale.

Five stages, five practices, one lever. Everything in it is usable this afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOOK

The Five Stages

01

See the Operator

The voice narrating your life is not you. Learn to tell the commentary from the one listening to it, and keep the signal without the panic.

02

Feel the Engine

You can't think your way out of a state your body is holding. Meet the accelerator and the brake, and learn to read which gear you are in.

03

Downshift

Surrender is not a belief. It is a physical state. The one lever the body actually answers to, and the two breathing tools that pull it.

A hand on the gear stick of a classic car
The empty driver's seat of a classic car

04

Dissolve the Driver

The quiet "not yet enough" that keeps flooring the pedal. Catch it, interrupt it, and change the fuel you build on.

05

Build From Wholeness

Realisation is the setup. Integration is the whole game. How to lead from the brake, plan for the relapse, and keep the other gears for good.

One Last Thing

I wrote this book after my own body stopped letting me ignore the invoice.

I ran two companies and a handful of stores, mostly alone, until the 4am wake ups and the breakdowns started. Then I sold everything and spent four years in India and the Amazon finding out what was actually running me.

You don't have to do any of that. I did it so I could hand you the map.

Forty-four pages. Five stages. One long exhale.

See you inside,
